Incredible Tool for Kickstarting B2B Digital Marketing Plans

I got so Excited after buying the Full Stack a few weeks ago I forgot about leaving a review !.

I made a promise to myself that If I buy any new tool or SAAS system I must implement & use within 7 Days or Dont Buy. Outstanding Value - Competitor data and Marketing insights (Even without the "Marketing Plan"!)

At first glance I wondered about refunding this, as the "Marketing Plan" is extra. However, as I dig deeper into this product, I'm sequentially more impressed. I haven't set up Google analytics on my sites yet so can't use that to create my ideal customer "Persona" Avators, but feel like that alone will worth the price of this product. I decided to try the Competitor analysis. Within seconds of me entering 3 major competitors, I now know the primary keyword topics that are drawing their heaviest traffic, I know who they're back-linked to and how many links there are, and I've already pivoted my marketing plan to leverage markets I didn't realize were in my niche. I think I just made $20,000 in the next 2 years based just on the data that was easily presented to me by this tool. I seriously doubt any of those top three competitors even know in their own business, what I know now about their businesses. So now, I'm totally sold, as I can gather that data on any competitor, in any of the niches I have brands in - easily. I'm keeping this! ~Thanks

Lots of potential

What growthchannel is trying to do is really great and has lots of value.

Being able to see persona insight by integrating with google, Facebook and linkedin is something that others already do so if this team can get their quality as good as their competitors it will be a useful tool.

Being able to check out competitors domain activity is of great importance to see what is working what is not.

So overall it is a great concept. It just needs to be implemented to a much higher standard if this tool is going to make it.

Also this deal is confusing. The growthchannel plans and membership are confusing.

The tool has a long way to go... But that is why it is on a ltd...

Not impressed so far. Interface looks great but output I have seen so far is very thin.

The proposition was not very clear, but I was intrigued. I cannot judge the AI-powered plan itself yet, it remains pending for a while already. In the meantime, I have been looking at the other options. Competitor Analysis is providing very limited information 5 organic results, 5 backlinks, 5 referring domains and no option to view more. Website audit returns you to the site and after entering my details I was presented with a website error. The library is just a list of external tools. Checking the plan details from within the tool does not show the Saas Mantra deal but shows the site and their default plans. Not impressed so far. I hope that the plan itself is valuable and does not take the 5 days that I have seen in another post.

I have watched the video before I bought tier 3. I am really wondering what you are saying by "Please note that AI-generated marketing plans come as add-ons for all SaaSMantra deal tiers.". In your text AI is mentioned as it needs more information about KPI's etc. It is confusing, so how are the plans being made, and why does it take 5 days?

AI content writer

The only time I noticed content was written for me was when I had a look at Facebook ad copy. It was just short copy and it seems it just used some of my text and added some words that were not that relevant.

Growth tactics

It had 4 clickable sections each holding checkboxes that had no visual effect (brave browser) and the information presented to me below these boxes was ok but too long to read. I think it could have been more interactive and shorter based on the section you clicked.

Persona Builder

I only checked to make one via the templates. Nice but this can be done for free via Semrush for example.

I wish you all the best with your solution, it is not what I was expecting. Probably partly my fault but I would advise asking more people to read your text and check what they expect to get.

Another thing: both plans that I requested earlier and their status are gone. I have spend a good amount of time entering all details. Time this tool is not worth spending on.

I have asked for a refund, in my opinion the V in MVP is not yet met.

@Eduard: The marketing plans are at $499 but we offer 20% off on any Growth Channel products to SaaSMantra customers. We are working on releasing a limited version of the (instant) AI generated marketing plans in Q1 and will consider your suggestion to offer that also for SaaSMantra customers.

As a side note, current marketing plans go through a virtual simulation which takes time and is a major cost currently for the Growth Channel. This is why we cannot drop the price much or offer that as a part of the LTD. We are working on a limited version which will bypass the simulation but will still generate majority of the contents of the marketing plan, which is expected to be released at towards the end of Q1.

@Josh: All the main components of the app are currently linked to the questionnaire. You fill it in so the app knows what you're generating the plan for and then gives you recommendations on tactics, competitor analysis, content recommendations, and growth library resources based on that.

Analyze 3 Competitors, is that a once off, each month, continually?

Do you plan on adding more data channels in the future? eg more stats on competitors social media engagement, affiliates performance, conversation rates etc

Will persona from other sources be included in each tier?

I have done a walkthrough on your tool on my youtube channel saasrevu that you might be interested in flicking through. In the walkthrough I was just using your free membership/plan. That fact that you have both memberships and plans with crossover is confusing. If I purchase a yearly membership why do I need a monthly plan and visa versa?

For me two things I feel that this offer (saasmanta) gives me that I am excited about is competitor analysis and persona's from google analytics (and hopefully multiple other sources in the future that we can combine together to trying get amazing persona details with a few simple intregations/connections). I feel these are the only two things (plus ai credit [which I haven't tried or know what 1 credit means], users, branding) that is being offered in this deal in different quotes per tier for my needs.

Also when I asked for tactics, it forwards me an email about doing a marketing plan, this is was weird for me as I understand that their was an option for the plan that was $499. I just wanted tactical information generated. Which if you go back into the tactics section you can then click on and view. I feel it would be better to direct straight to the tactics with maybe a reminder that plans can be do for you.

Competitor analysis limits: tier 1 and tier 2 have a limit of adding up to 3 competitors per questionnaire, while tier 3 doesn’t have that limit. At the same time, you can complete more questionnaires.

Competitor data sources: we keep on adding new data sources and the next ones on the roadmap are for mobile apps, additional website insights on audience level, and amazon listings. We will explore additional sources as you recommended for social media engagement and affiliates performance as well.


New persona sources per LTD plan: we will likely be including personas generation from competitor data within the SaaSMantra LTD. Other sources of generating personas are currently scoped in for monthly usage with higher volume available at an add-on. We are still in the cost analysis for that, and may be having fewer limitations. I will keep you posted here on the progress.

Your Youtube channel saasrevu: couldn’t find our review - can you share a link pls?

Instant Tactics: you should be redirected to tactics recommendation right after submitting the questionnaire, so your experience does sound like a bug… Have you pressed 'Confirm' button on the review page?

AI content writer: 1 credit means you can have 1 prompt to generate content. 1 prompt gives 1–3 content recommendations, 3 in most cases.

I had the pleasure to meet Maryna aug 2020 as i ended on their website and was hugely impressed by the Value Proposal. At that time Marketing Plan was at 99$, today 499$, Some other core features have been added and the product is well structured as a concept.

There is a way forward as KNOWLEDGE is the critical part vs the software developed, and she and the team HAS IT.

The question is how the Software would follow the knowledge... and there is a critical point of market adoption. To get to Series A, you need users actively providing input on the product roadmap.

With the reactions in the reviews, many would just move aside. Strengthen the value perception with additional video examples (USE CASES, bot conceptual) and consider even to sweetener the deal.

Incentivize Tier 3 purchase by adding 1 Marketing Plan a month, and budget limit for Ads feature... What would you have to lose? a limited USE? Compare to what you have to GAIN? a FULL INSIGHT of the product, exta REAL Experience WORTH Paying for, Stronger REVIEWS if there is VALUE to consider. .... still plenty of space to generate Revenue.

There is a critical mommentul that may limit the potential growth.

PS as mentioned last year. when you go to LTD do not aim first revenue, as you should aim

1. features feedback of active users, 2. strong reviews across relevant platforms and 3. validate market pricing positioning. .. the rest is nice to have (including revenue). Switching the priorities, has a major impact on the potential ahead. Up to you to judge.

with the best of thoughts from a strategy person. ;)

1. Our SaaSMantra Deal is mapped to Growth Channel Membership; however, Membership is not the only product of Growth Channel, as we also have full marketing plan generation in place, an ad platform, and other marketing automation tools that we offer, which are available to SaaSMantra customers but are out of scope for this specific deal.

2. DSP is our new product for omnichannel advertising. You can read more about It here http://growthchannel.io/dsp. We connect to multiple ad exchanges and DSPs to help reach your target audiences wherever they are. Note that DSP is not a part of the Membership & SaaSMantra deal.

Hello. I had first purchased Tier 2 - but noticed there is a limit of analyzing 3 competitors. So, I decided to upgrade to Tier 3 - so that I can analyze unlimited competitors as provided in the deal terms.

However, I was disappointed when I saw even in Tier 3 - we can only analyze just 3 competitors.

Can you please upgrade the product functionality to reflect what is provided for Tier 3?

If not unlimited, atleast we should be able to analyze 10 competitors, isn't it?

@Kapil: have you tried using the app after the upgrade issue you reported earlier? Based on the team's troubleshooting, it looks like your account was upgraded but it was still cached. If you logout/log back in (or hard refresh) - it should solve the issue. Can you try again now and let me know if it all works OK? Thanks for the feedback!

@Maryna: Hi Maryna, I tried just now ...having more than 3 competitors...and there are no values being populated from the data sources (Sem Rush and Optimer). the competitors section shows zero data. I am disappointed.

@Maryna: but let me just say i added 15 or so very well known sites and all of them showed zero data. whats more is that now i created another plan, and its mention does not even appear in the competitor analysis page! forget about data, even the entry doesnt appear on the page.

Is workspace management the same as white-label dashboard? I didn't understand the response regarding WL update?

@Jason: white label (logo & colours), workspace management, and teams will be available in the UI tomorrow; but you can already request those if urgent through support email, and we will set them up for you.

We haven't had the public roadmap in some time and are updating that this week, so I'll post a link later for you to review.

Last questions; Will Cname domain be included as part of WL or just dashboard look and feel?

Also will there be a WL PDF report that matches brand colors, logo, and company name?

Trying to decide how it fits into my agency suite and if I should purchase tier 3, looks promising but need a WL tool.

@Jason: Current state of WL is at look & feel, but CNAME has been added to the roadmap (est. Q1 2022) as there were a number of requests in the past weeks for that feature.

PDF export mirrors the dashboard output content, so if that's with your colours and logo - this is also what you'll get in exported PDF version.
